## One line

Meters for anything, in your Mac's menu bar.

## Short

Multimeter puts live meters in your Mac's menu bar: battery, power draw, CPU, memory, network, fan speed, timers,
countdowns, and any number you send it from a script, URL, file or multimeter:// link. Pick a face for each meter, from
a needle gauge to an LCD readout to a row of hearts.

## Long

Multimeter puts live meters in your Mac's menu bar, and you choose what each one measures and how it looks.

It reads 16 sources: your battery (charging state, time left, health, cycles, temperature), the battery in a Magic
Keyboard, Mouse or Trackpad, power draw in watts, CPU, memory, disk space, thermal pressure, fan speed, network speed,
a timer, a countdown to a date, and how much of the day, week, month or year has gone by.

For everything else, send a value with a multimeter:// link from Terminal, Shortcuts, Raycast or cron, or point a
meter at a web address that returns plain text or JSON, a file, or a shell script. Build status, deploys, inbox
counts, the temperature in a greenhouse: if you can get a number, Multimeter can show it.

Each meter gets a face: a small analog gauge with a springy needle, seven-segment digits on a backlit LCD, a
sparkline, a ring, a bar, clean text, or the playful ones like hearts and a laser blade. Faces are small HTML, CSS and
JavaScript files, so anyone can build one; the meter reloads when you save. Faces can be shared as files or in the
community gallery at multimeterapp.com/gallery.

Warning and critical levels turn a meter yellow or red and can send a notification. Sets of meters save as themes.
Five live meters use about 2% CPU; all faces share one WebKit process and pause while displays sleep. No account and
no tracking.
