Terms of Service

1. License

Once Multimeter is on sale, a purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use Multimeter on any Mac you personally own
• Create and customize meters
• Share the meters you make

One license per person. You can use it on all of your own Macs. Business or organizational use needs one license per user.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• Share, sell, or give your license to others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or change any proprietary notices in the Software
• Use the Software for anything unlawful
• Create derivative works of the Software itself (making your own meters is fine)

3. Pricing and Payment

Multimeter is in development and not on sale yet. Pricing and payment terms will be posted here before it launches.

4. Refunds

Refund terms will be posted here before Multimeter goes on sale.

5. Updates and Support

Updates are delivered in the app through Sparkle. For help, email hello@greatwork.company.

We answer support requests as quickly as we can, but we can't guarantee a response time.

6. Your Meters

You own the meters you make. When you share a meter in the community gallery, you let us and other people use, change and share it under the license you choose when you submit it.

You're responsible for making sure your meters don't contain harmful code or infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Intellectual Property

Multimeter, including its code, design and documentation, is protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not granted in these Terms are reserved.

The built-in meters are covered by the same license as the Software and may not be distributed separately.

8. No Warranty

Multimeter is provided "as is", without any warranty, express or implied. We don't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or right for your needs.

We are not responsible for damage to your computer, lost data, or other problems that come from using the Software.

9. Limitation of Liability

As far as the law allows, our liability for any claim related to Multimeter is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

We may end your license if you break these Terms. If that happens, you must stop using the Software and delete every copy.

If your license ends because you broke these Terms, you aren't entitled to a refund.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. If you keep using the Software after a change, you accept the new Terms. We'll announce significant changes on the website or in an app update.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be settled in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
